What is LOUNGΞLAND?

LOUNGΞLAND is an exclusive like-minded community that collaborates using blockchain technology to build innovative products.The concept is based on Walt Disney’s original vision for EPCOT, the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.This "community of the future" was an idea developed by Walt Disney near the end of his lifetime. It was designed to stimulate American corporations to come up with new ideas for urban living.Our community of the future will use blockchain technology to build a vacation club that will help people afford vacations.The LOUNGΞLAND community will build products together. LOUNGΞLAND will help our members afford vacations through a comprehensive approach that lowers cost and saves time, while integrating exclusive decentralized finance (DeFi) strategies into vacation planning. We call it "DeFi Vacation Planning."Through our system, members can pool buying power, own fractional shares of vacation assets, and develop innovative solutions to fund vacations. Members will have the opportunity to earn cryptocurrency for contributing to the community.Members will also get access to concierge planning services, exclusive insider vacation planning intel, group discounts, token-gated apps, money-saving systems + an incentivized community that will help them reach their goals.LOUNGΞLAND goes beyond traditional travel clubs. On May 30, 2022, the premiere trends tracking group, TRENDS PRO, reported a massive increase in popularity for "easy travel."

There are several travel clubs selling annual subscriptions at high prices.None of them offer anything close to what LOUNGΞLAND will offer.In the future, if we find a club that offers something we can't provide (and our community feels that it needs), we will vote on a partnership. If that isn't possible, we will build the features ourselves.

what does the team know about building a travel community?

Kelly Johns started his first “web1” business with his wife Chelsea in 1997 on their WebTV. They built an online sports collectibles business in their garage.They eventually obtained an NFL license for an original product and secured direct contracts with legendary athletes like Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Willie Mays, and many more.In 2002, Kelly developed a mobile time management app that was used by Fortune 500 companies--years before the App Store and iPhone launched.In 2007-8 he built an early, members-only social community for the Ultimate Warrior's return to wrestling. Several publications praised it as the "best wrestling social media campaign of its time" -- far before social media was mainstream.In 2008, at the inception of the App Store, Kelly & Chelsea built MouseWait, which quickly amassed over 3 million installs. Kelly developed an algorithm that was able to predict the wait times at Disneyland and built a community using organic growth strategies.The decision to build a community is the reason MouseWait still thrives to this day, as it's the most extensive, loyal mobile Disneyland community in the world.
